Tony Pulls is waiting on the fitness of Salomon Rondon, who was taken off with a back injury early in that defeat to City, and is likely to be without midfielder James Morrison who is still recovering from a hamstring problem. Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores could welcome back Joel Ekstrand for this one but is waiting to see whether influential midfielder Etienne Capoue will recover from the knock that saw him subbed in that draw with the Toffees.

Watford’s season can go down as a success as they’re also pretty much guaranteed to be playing Premier League football next season. They started off their first season back in the top flight in great style, mainly thanks to the duo of Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo who have amassed 23 league goals between them this season. Since the turn of the year they’ve gone off the boil somewhat, only winning twice in the league in 2016, but their early season form has kept them out of the relegation battle. They halted a winless run of four games with a 1-1 draw at home to Everton last time out and they’ll be looking to put together a decent run as the end of the season approaches

This looks like being a pretty boring uninspiring game, which would sum up the Baggies’ season completely. Neither side have much to play for and this has a typical end of season feel to it. What a game we have in store at Carrow Road as the relegation battle heads into the final weeks of the season. 17th take on 18th in a match that could go a long way in deciding who loses their Premier League status and our football tipster has picked the best three betting tips.

Norwich City vs Sunderland Predictions

Norwich City

After a run of ten games without a win, Norwich found a little form with a three match unbeaten run. They gained a credible draw at home to Manchester City and had consecutive wins over West Brom and relegation candidates Newcastle United. That run was brought to an end last weekend when they were unlucky to lose against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace in a result that, along with their 0-0 draw with Everton, probably sees the Eagles safe. With Aston Villa all but down and Newcastle looking likely to join them it seems it’s between Norwich and Sunderland who will finish in that final relegation place and that makes this an intriguing clash.

Alex Neil is without long term absentee Alex Tettey but is hoping Russell Martin will be fit to return. Fellow defender Timm Klose is a doubt after being stretchered off in that Palace defeat. Sam Allardyce has a fully fit squad to choose from other than Duncan Watmore who is missing with an ankle injury.

Sunderland

Sunderland just can’t seem to find a win from anywhere. Since they last picked up three points in mid-February at home to Manchester United they’ve not won in six, and though they’ve drawn four of those it’s victories they need and soon to stand any chance of ensuring their Premier League safety.

Neither side can afford to get beat here. Sunderland may be four points behind Norwich but they do have a game in hand over their relegation rivals, if they can win here then their Premier League future is in their own hands. If Norwich can win, they’ll go seven points clear of 18th place and Sunderland would face a huge task to stay in this division regardless of whether they win that game in hand. Calling this is very tough, a tight game is in store for us and I think this will end in the sides sharing the points. A draw for me and a low scoring draw at that. Both sides have tightened up defensively in recent weeks, Norwich have only conceded four goals in their last five games and Sunderland four in four. The Gunners may still harbour hopes of a late title challenge, but in truth they’re a long way off even if they do win the game in hand they have over Leicester and North London rivals Tottenham. The game against West Ham last weekend pretty much summed up their season, being 2-0 up and cruising to then losing 3-2 before salvaging a draw epitomised how their season has gone in one match.

Palace have been appalling in 2016 and it looked like they were in danger of getting embroiled in a relegation battle but after their 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Norwich last weekend and their point at home to Everton midweek they’ve almost secured their Premier League status barring another almighty collapse. They’re eleven points clear of 18th placed Sunderland now, although they have played a game more, but it looks like their early season form will be enough to keep them in the top flight for another season.

This game probably comes too soon for Jack Wilshere despite him playing 90 minutes for the Under 21 side as he continues his road to full fitness. Arsene Wenger could welcome back Mathieu Flamini but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Santi Cazorla are still out. Alan Pardew is hoping Dwight Gayle will be fit to return after picking up an injury in the draw with Everton, but this game might be too soon for the trio of James McArthur Marouane Chamakh and Brede Hangeland.

This should be an easy Arsenal victory for my Premier League predictions this weekend. Palace have had a little return to form with four points from the last two, but it’s a tough ask to see them turning over their London rivals. They’re pretty much safe and the pressure is off them now and with this being a London derby they’ll be up for it, but with Arsenal in danger of being caught by Manchester City and even fifth placed Manchester United they need to pick up the three points here. I think Palace will score though, the pace of Jason Puncheon, Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie will cause the Gunners problems and Emmanuel Adebayor will be wanting to get on the scoresheet against his former club but the Gunners will do enough to win. This is a big game for Arsenal this week as the fans seem to be getting on Wenger’s back again after the disappointing point at home against a struggling Crystal Palace. With back to back draws in the league a win is desperately needed for the Gunners which should be straight forward on paper as West Brom look to be settling for a mid-table finish.

As mentioned, draws against West Ham and now Palace leave Arsenal without a win since the 4-0 thrashing of Watford which seemed to a promising performance with potentially more to come. West Brom seemed to have switched off since virtually securing Premier League football next season. Without a league win since they played Man United at home earlier on in March. Bournemouth vs Chelsea Predictions

Bournemouth's season can only go down as a success. They sit in 13th place on 41 points, 11 ahead of the relegation zone, and for a side who were favourites to return to the Championship at the start of the season they've done incredibly well. They're a great side to watch at times, and their Premier League status is pretty much assured. They've lost their last two at home though, a heavy defeat at Dean Court at the hands of Manchester City was followed by a 2-1 loss to Liverpool, though sandwiched inbetween was a victory at relegated Aston Villa. They'll fancy their chances against a Chelsea side who look like they've given up on this season.

Eddie Howe will be without Benik Afobe for this one who is still out with a hamstring injury. He's also likely to be missing Harry Arter and Adam Smith but Callum Wilson could start this one.

Chelsea seemed to have found some consistency after the appointment of Guus Hiddink, but of late their form has dropped. They were humiliated at home to Manchester City last time out, going down 3-0 as Chelsea 'flop' Kevin De Bruyne ran the show, and that was the second consecutive defeat after losing away at Swansea City the week before. They've only won one of their last five, and that came at the expense of whipping boys Aston Villa. It looks like Chelsea's season is going to peter out as they focus on next term.

Hiddink is without goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois after his red card in the City defeat so Asmir Begovic will start. John Terry, Kurt Zouma and Loic Remy are all missing and Eden Hazard is extremely doubtful to play any part in this.

Neither side can boast decent defensive records of late. The Cherries have conceded 10 goals in their last four games, and Chelsea's defence hasn't fared much better, conceding six in their last four. With both defences frail, I can see a few goals in this one. My first Bournemouth vs Chelsea prediction is for there to be over 3.5 goals in this one.

Jurgen Klopp certainly seems to have instilled confidence in his players since he began his reign at Anfield,  but they’re still suffering with inconsistencies. Last time out in the league they let slip a 2-0 advantage to only draw at home with relegation flirting Newcastle after winning the previous three. The Europa League is certainly Liverpool’s priority now and their concentration will be on overturning Villarreal’s 1-0 victory in the first leg next week.

Because of their commitments in Europe, it’s difficult to predict what side Klopp will put out here. After their last Europa game, the Reds boss changed all but one of his starting line-up for the league fixture against Bournemouth and with the return leg in six days time he could do something similar here. He is definitely without Jordan Henderson and Divock Origi, and Mamadou Sakho has been handed a 30-day ban from UEFA after the defender failed a blood test.

The Swans have a poor record against Liverpool, having lost their last five meetings between the two. With Liverpool minds likely elsewhere they won’t have a better chance of ending that rotten run, though they’d have to drastically improve their own form to get something out of this. I do think they’ll be goals in this one though for my Premier League predictions this weekend, Swansea have conceded seven in their last two and Liverpool’s last five league games has seen 16 goals. My first Swansea vs Liverpool prediction is for there to be over 3.5 goals in this one.

It’s hard to call a winner in these football tips, I think the most likely result in this is the draw. Liverpool have shown that even after tough games in Europe they can still win domestic games, but with the huge second leg next week they won’t be risking everything for the three points here. Swansea have been poor off late, but their home form hasn’t been too bad, unbeaten in five at the Liberty. Last weekend they suffered defeat at the hands of Arsenal, where their lack of quality up front and their inability to take their chances cost them dearly. That's been the story of the season for Alex Neil and his men. It's almost certain to be any two from three out of Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle as to who is playing Championship football next season with Crystal Palace almost certainly, and whilst the Canaries have a game in hand on the Magpies, for me they really need something from this game to stand a chance of staying up. The other worry for Alex Neil is that their two rivals have picked up form when they've needed to most, whilst Norwich have lost the last three Sunderland are unbeaten in three and Newcastle unbeaten in four. A defeat here and a Newcastle win away at Aston Villa later on in the day will leave the Canaries five points adrift with the Championship beckoning.

Ryan Bennett is hoping to have recovered from the illness that kept him out of that Arsenal defeat, but Timm Klose and Andre Wisdom are both likely to miss out. The key decision for Alex Neil is who starts up front, Cameron Jerome got the nod to start at the Emirates but Diemerci Mbokani might start instead with Wes Hoolahan and Nathan Redmond continuing.

Manchester United's push for a Champions League spot continues as their three match unbeaten run in the league continued with a draw at home to new Premier League Champions Leicester City. They're still fifth, four points behind Manchester City, but they do have a game in hand over their rivals and a win here will put pressure on City to get a result against Arsenal on Sunday.

Louis Van Gaal will have to do without Marouane Fellaini who is benned after his antics against Leicester. Adnan Januzai, Will Keane, Bastion Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw are all still out.

United may have lost the reverse fixture when Norwich visited Old Trafford in December but they have a good record against the Canaries, beating them in five of the last six meetings between the two. I think this one is going to follow suit, however much Norwich need the victory United have finally found some form and their performances are improving. An away win for me, and a clean sheet too. The Black Cats hit form when they needed to most, they’re unbeaten in their last five games and have only lost one of their last ten in a run that included vital wins over Norwich and Chelsea, and what could’ve been a must win game is now nothing more than a dead rubber with neither side having much to play for now.

Allardyce has no injury or suspension concerns going into this one, though he may rest a few after the tough few weeks his players have had.

Watford have announced that manager Quique Sanchez Flores will leave the club at the end of the season. From the outside it seems a strange move with Sanchez Flores leading them to a safe Premier League position and he has the best record of any Watford manager in the top flight. They started the season in great style, but Watford fans will point to the fact that the Hornets’ second half of the season has been poor and a fresh approach is needed. Well it worked for Leicester…

In his last game in charge, Flores is missing Valon Behrami and Etienne Capoue. Tommy Hoban has missed most of the season and it’s unlikely he’ll feature here along with Joel Ekstrand.

It’s possible that a win here could see the Hornet’s finish in 11th place, which makes Flores’ dismissal even more strange. Still, this game does have a feel of a boring end of season fixture and for that reason my first Watford vs Sunderland prediction is for this game to end in a draw. Austria v Netherlands betting tips and predictions for the final warm up match for Austria before the Euro 2016 tournament starts next week.

Football friendlies are always a little bit of a mixed bag in terms of results and performances, and this one could be a similar sort of game. Austria have the Euro’s looming and sometimes it can make the players less committed in the friendlies. This is because the final squads have been announced and it’s likely that the majority of the starting XI’s are well known within the squad as well. The emergence this season of Vincent Janssen has been a very good addition to the aging strike force of Netherlands, as Robin Van Persie and Klaas Jan Huntelaar are both the wrong side of 30 now. Sweden v Wales predictions and betting tips for their International friendly taking place on Sunday 5th June, kick off time 3:00pm.

Sweden and Wales face each other in Stockholm on Sunday in the final preparation game before the European Championships begin and I have picked out the best three betting tips in my preview.

Sweden v Wales Betting Preview

Wales enjoyed an excellent qualification campaign as they booked their place in a major tournament for the first time since 1958, but their recent form is a cause for concern for manager Chris Coleman. His side have only won one of their last six games and last time out we saw them narrowly beaten by Ukraine. Not the best preparation heading into their first Euro 2016 Group B game against Slovakia, but Coleman may be able to call upon Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey for this one as they try and find some form. Neither featured in Wales’ last three friendlies, Bale hasn’t played for his country since October, but both might get a run out here. Joe Allen and Hal Robson-Kanu are suffering with injuries and are unlikely to be risked.

Sweden, like Wales, haven’t been in the best of form either, having a similar record of only one win in their last six games. Their last game saw them draw 0-0 with Slovenia and they’ll be looking for a better performance before they take on Republic of Ireland in Euro 2016 Group E. Zlatan Ibrahimovic may make an appearance midst all the off field reports of him moving to the Premier League this summer and Sweden all-time leading goalscorer is, as always, the one to watch for the home side.

Whilst both sides will be looking for a positive result in their last game before France neither will want to risk too much, particularly in terms of risking injuries, and I can’t see past a drab draw here for my football tips.
